We have a particular interest in Public Law Children Act proceedings especially in areas of Placement Order Applications , Special Guardianship Orders and placement breakdown issues.

Privately Funded Work

In the event that you are not eligible for Legal Aid we offer very competitive rates for those clients paying themselves, we can cap or agree fixed rates to suit your needs

Publicly Funded Work

Public Law Care Proceedings

​

Our Family Law department cover areas Public Law Orders involving the Local Authority. This includes, applications for Care Orders and Supervision Orders, Emergency Protection Orders, Voluntary (section 20) Placements, Secure Accommodation Orders, Special Guardianship Applications, Adoption and contact with a child in the care of a Local Authority. We are able to offer non-means tested Legal Aid to a parent or a person with parental responsibility for a child who is subject to such proceedings. We also regularly represent children through their Children’s Guardian in Care Proceedings. Where appropriate we can also seek public funding for other parties either involved or seeking to be involved in Care Proceedings.
